Last Comment for Jira writes the newest public comment onto the issue: the first 255 characters, the author's display name, and the date. Restricted comments are skipped on purpose. The app runs on Atlassian Forge. Zecro has no server of its own in the path, and Zecro cannot read your issue text.

What it does

  • Public comments only. Role, group, and service-desk internal comments are not stored.
  • Jira does not support ~ search on this field type. Filter by Last Comment Date or Author instead.
  • If the field shows an older comment, a newer restricted comment was skipped.
  • Shares a privacy policy and a support page with Undelete & Restore for Jira.
