VS Code

CSV Desk

CSV Desk edits CSV and TSV in a virtualized grid with two-way sync back to the text, so VS Code undo still works. Sort and filter run across the columns you can see. The extension is offline and has no telemetry.

What it does

• Delimiter auto-detect for comma, tab, semicolon, and pipe, with RFC 4180 quoting.
• Numeric-aware sort, filter, and a header toggle.
• Editing a cell changes that record's text, which keeps diffs small.
• Published limit: files up to 50 MB.
