SVG Canvas

SVG Canvas is a visual editor for .svg files inside VS Code. The canvas and the source are the same document, so undo and redo are ordinary VS Code undo and redo. Scripts inside an SVG never run. The extension is offline and has no telemetry.

What it does

• Select, move, resize, and rotate. Draw rect, circle, ellipse, line, polyline, and text.
• Attribute inspector. Renders defs, symbol, use, gradients, and style.
• Round-trip safe: markup you did not touch stays byte-identical.
• Pro is planned at $12, once, and is not available yet: path node editing, layers, snap and align, offline optimize, and PNG or ICO export.
