Privacy Policy: XML Desk

Effective October 31, 2026. This policy covers the VS Code extension XML Desk ("the extension"), published by Zecro LLC under the Marketplace publisher zecro. Contact: the contact page. A public email address is not listed on this site.

What it does with your files

XML Desk evaluates XPath 1.0 and 3.1 in VS Code, with namespace auto-detect, and can copy an XPath, show a tree, format, minify, and check that a document is well-formed. It is pure JavaScript: no Java runtime, no binary download, no remote DTD or XSD fetch, and no telemetry.

The extension runs in your editor. File contents are processed on your machine. Zecro does not receive your files. The public build does not include telemetry, analytics, or advertising.

Network

The extension is published as a local tool. It does not send your documents, source, environment values, or spreadsheet contents to Zecro. Pro is sold separately at this checkout. The seller of record (Payhip or Gumroad) processes the payment. Zecro does not receive your card number. Buying Pro does not upload your files.

What we do not do

We do not sell user data. We do not use the extension for advertising or to build marketing profiles.

Children

The extension is not directed at children.
