Undelete & Restore for Jira

Undelete & Restore for Jira keeps snapshots for projects a Jira admin selects, and can restore a deleted issue from that snapshot. It runs on Atlassian Forge. Snapshots live in Forge storage for your site. Zecro cannot read them.

What it does

  • Snapshots include summary, description, labels, priority, components, versions, due date, parent, status, links, and attachment file names. The files themselves are not stored, and attachments are not restored in this version. File names are listed on the restored issue.
  • Comment text is included, including role- or group-restricted comments the app can read. A restored restricted comment keeps its restriction.
  • Retention is 90 days by default. An admin can choose 1–365 days. Records are purged daily. Uninstalling deletes the app's stored data.
  • Only issues in covered projects, created or changed after install, are fully captured.
