Privacy Policy: Zecro LLC Jira apps

Last updated 2026-10-20.

Applies to Last Comment for Jira and Undelete & Restore for Jira ("the apps"), made by Zecro LLC.

What we collect

The apps run on Atlassian Forge with no outside servers, no analytics and no tracking. The data below is stored inside Atlassian's infrastructure, for your Jira site only, and Zecro LLC cannot read it.

Operational logs: Atlassian gives Zecro LLC access to the apps' operational logs in the Forge developer console. These logs contain numeric issue ids, counts (for example number of comments or links), timings and error codes. They do not contain issue text, comment text, names or account ids. Atlassian keeps these logs for a limited time under its own retention rules.

Last Comment for Jira

  • In Forge app storage: the Atlassian account ids of comment authors shown in the fields, with the issue ids they appear on (used only for the account-closure process below).
  • In Jira custom fields on each issue: the first 255 characters of the newest public comment, its author's display name, and its date.
  • In Forge app storage: app settings and field ids.
  • Restricted comments (role, group, service desk internal) are never stored.

Undelete & Restore for Jira

Only for projects a Jira admin selects, in Forge app storage:

  • Issue snapshots: summary, description, labels, priority, components, versions, due date, parent, status, links, attachment file names (not files).
  • Personal data: display names and Atlassian account ids of assignees, reporters, comment authors, and the users who delete or restore issues.
  • Comment text, including role- or group-restricted comments the app is able to read. Restricted comments keep their restriction if restored.

Where it is stored

Atlassian Forge hosted storage and your Jira site. Data residency follows your Jira site's region under Atlassian's data residency rules.

How long

  • Last Comment: while the app is installed. After uninstall the fields are no longer maintained or shown by the app; Forge app storage (settings) is deleted by Atlassian.
  • Undelete & Restore: snapshots and deleted-issue records are kept for 90 days by default (an admin can choose 1–365 days) and purged daily. Uninstalling the app deletes all of its stored data.

Closed and changed Atlassian accounts

Both apps report the Atlassian account ids they store to Atlassian's Personal Data Reporting API every week. When Atlassian says an account was closed, the apps replace that person's name with "Former user" and delete the account id from their stored data. When a name changes, the stored name is updated.

Sharing

None. No data is sent outside Atlassian, sold or shared with third parties.

Your rights

Jira admins can remove records from Undelete & Restore at any time ("Delete forever"), shorten retention, or uninstall the app. For questions or data requests, contact the contact page.
